Assessments


Homeowners become members of the Mariposa Community Association when they purchase a lot or home. Members are responsible for paying quarterly dues to support community operations and reserve funds.

Assessments are due on the 1st of each quarter: July 1; October 1; January 1; April 1. Assessments received after the 15th of the month are subject to late fees. Current assessments are $336.00 per quarter. The Peaks, Redondo, and The M neighborhoods pay an additional assessment.

 

Payment and Statement Options

There are many ways to pay your association dues. In addition to paying by mail, below are details regarding four electronic ways to pay, which include: recurring payment, electronic checks, debit, and credit card options.

Whichever method you choose, please include your payment coupon, account number, and use a separate check and envelope for each property’s account to ensure prompt and proper application of your payment. Recurring Payments

Recurring electronic check payments allow for payments to be automatically issued from your checking or savings account each quarter.

To establish eligibility of recurring payment processing through Alliance Association Bank, please sign into your VMS Portal and select the Links tab and “Pay Your Assessment Online.” There is no charge for election of recurring eCheck payments.

 

Individual Bank Bill Payment Services

If you are using a bill payment service through your bank or a third-party, please review your account number and remittance address (see below). Many bill payment services remit electronically, and the correct account number is essential for proper posting. If your assessment has changed, you must also update your account information with your financial institution.

One-Time Electronic Checks, Debit, and Credit Card Payments

One-time payments can be made online by eCheck, credit or debit card from within your VMS Portal under the Links tab.

  • The bank charges a $2.95 fee per transaction for use of one-time eCheck payment.
  • The bank charges a $5.00 flat processing fee per debit card transaction and a 3.5% per credit card transaction. American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa are accepted.
  • Phone payments are not available.

Mail

Payments can be mailed to the address on your statement (see below) or hand-delivered to Association offices at 2501 Parkway Ave. within the Mariposa Community Center. There is a secure mailbox behind the reception desk to deposit payments delivered after office hours.

Please include the detachable coupon portion of the statement with your payment.
